Solon Phillips is the Founder and Managing Partner of Remus Law Group, where he leads with professionalism, strategic insight, and client-focused advocacy. His primary practice areas include family law, civil litigation, business law, and real estate. Solon is known for delivering practical legal solutions through effective negotiation and litigation.
Solon earned his Juris Doctor from American University Washington College of Law, where he served as a Dean’s Fellow and Marshall-Brennan Fellow and was a member of the Journal of Gender, Policy, and the Law. He also holds a Master of Business Administration, further strengthening his corporate legal expertise. His legal foundation includes an internship under Judge Steven Platt in Prince George’s County.
Before co-founding Remus Law Group, Solon spent 17 years at prestigious firms, including Skadden Arps and Arnold & Porter. There, he developed a deep understanding of complex legal issues and honed his litigation and mediation skills. His client representation is marked by persuasive legal writing and a talent for resolving disputes cost-effectively.
In addition to his legal work, Solon teaches at the Paralegal Institute of Washington and frequently lectures in community settings. He is a published author of books and articles on marriage, divorce, custody, and real estate. His writings reflect his commitment to educating and empowering clients through the legal process.
