Shayne D. Moses is a founding partner of Moses, Palmer & Howell, L.L.P., and a board-certified attorney in Civil Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. With a practice spanning more than three decades, Shayne represents individuals and companies in litigation, transactional, and appellate matters across a variety of industries, including oil and gas, banking, insurance, construction, and real estate.
Shayne earned his Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s School of Law in 1986 and holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin. He is licensed to practice in Texas and Oklahoma and admitted to multiple federal courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
Renowned for his strategic insight and courtroom skill, Shayne has successfully tried cases involving oil and gas leases, banking disputes, complex divorces, and trust and probate litigation. He also advises clients in mergers, acquisitions, and business transactions, bringing creativity and clarity to high-stakes legal issues.
Shayne has been recognized as a Texas Super Lawyer annually since 2004 and as a “Top Attorney” by Fort Worth, Texas Magazine, and 360 West Magazine. He holds an AV Preeminent® rating from Martindale-Hubbell and was named to America’s Top 100 Attorneys.
