Shauna “Sean” Young Gaskey is a dedicated attorney known for her thoughtful advocacy and commitment to serving her community. Her practice centers on real estate, business law, estate planning, and banking, where she provides clients with strategic and compassionate legal solutions. Drawing from her diverse experiences, she approaches each case with precision, empathy, and a deep sense of purpose.
Shauna earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at San Antonio and her Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law. While in law school, she aligned her education with her values by dedicating over 100 pro bono hours to veterans through the Betty and Michael D. Wohl Veterans Law Clinic. She also served as President and Vice President of the Korean Law Students Association and was an active member of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association, fostering inclusion and leadership among peers.
During her time at Syracuse, Shauna contributed to the Syrian Accountability Project, co-authoring The 2022 Winter Olympics and Genocide: A History of Enabling Atrocities and the Path Forward. This work strengthened her understanding of international human rights and the impact of legal advocacy on a global scale. Her early recognition as a Skip and Judy Eno Debate Scholar at UTSA further refined her ability to communicate persuasively and think critically.
