Sharon E. Pickrell focuses her legal practice on labor and employment law, school law, and civil litigation. She approaches every case with clarity and a strong commitment to client advocacy. Drawing on years of experience in public education, she understands the real-world impact of workplace disputes and uses that insight to guide effective legal solutions.
Sharon earned her B.A. in English Literature from the University of North Texas in 2010, graduating summa cum laude. Sharon later completed her M.A. in Teaching from the University of the Cumberlands in 2013. She went on to receive her J.D., cum laude, in 2024 from Texas A&M University School of Law with a Workplace Law concentration.
During law school, Sharon developed her legal foundation through internships in both the public and private sectors, gaining hands-on experience in various employment matters. She was actively involved in the Women in the Law Student Association and the Employment and Labor Law Student Association, further shaping her focus on workplace-related legal issues.
Before becoming an attorney, Sharon spent more than a decade in public education, working primarily as a high school English teacher in North Texas and Kentucky. This real-world classroom experience gives her a unique advantage in handling education law and school-related legal issues, including employment disputes, teacher discipline, student discipline, and regulatory compliance for educators and school districts.
Sharon E. Pickrell was admitted to the Texas Bar in 2024 and is an active member of the Tarrant County Bar Association and the Tarrant County Young Lawyers Association. Her involvement in these professional groups supports her continued development in the legal field and reflects her commitment to serving the local legal community.
