Shane Wilson

Shane Wilson is the founder of Wilson Legal Group PLLC, providing legal services in immigration law, real estate law, small business law and estate planning. With a decade of legal experience, he is committed to helping individuals and businesses navigate complex legal matters while achieving their goals.

Wilson earned his Juris Doctor from West Virginia University College of Law in 2012. In 2008, he graduated with honors. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Washington and Lee University. In law school, he studied abroad in Guanajuato, Mexico, and was a teaching assistant. His strong academics and global experience shape his approach to providing effective legal help, especially for Spanish-speaking clients.

Before founding his firm, Wilson served as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of West Virginia. In this role, he successfully mediated and litigated consumer protection claims, advocating for individuals facing unfair business practices. His work helped ensure compliance with state laws and protected consumers from fraudulent and deceptive conduct.

In addition to his government service, Wilson worked as a field representative for a U.S. Congressman, gaining valuable experience in public service and community engagement. His background in legislative affairs provides him with a comprehensive understanding of regulatory and policy issues that impact businesses and individuals.

Shane Wilson is fluent in Spanish and has a deep passion for language and cultural understanding. He has volunteered as a translator for immigrant communities and has studied abroad in multiple Latin American countries, including Costa Rica, Peru, Argentina, Uruguay, and Spain. His bilingual capabilities allow him to serve a diverse client base, ensuring that language is never a barrier to quality legal representation.
