Shane G. Ramsey is co-chair of Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough’s Bankruptcy and Financial Restructuring Practice Group and leads complex bankruptcy cases nationwide. Known for his precision and results-driven approach, Shane represents creditors’ committees, trustees, bondholders, and plan administrators in high-value reorganizations and bankruptcy litigation. His practice spans Chapter 11 proceedings, out-of-court restructurings, and insolvency-related disputes.
Shane holds a J.D. with high honors from Florida State University College of Law, where he served as Senior Articles Editor of the Law Review and was inducted into the Order of the Coif. He earned his B.A. magna cum laude from the University of Tampa. He is admitted to practice in Tennessee, Florida, Georgia, and multiple federal courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court and U.S. Court of Federal Claims.
