Maegan L. Hurley is a skilled bankruptcy attorney at Ravosa Law Offices, P.C., serving clients throughout Massachusetts. Known for her compassion and effectiveness, she helps individuals and families find relief from debt through Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy. Maegan provides both legal knowledge and personal support to guide clients through challenging financial times.

Maegan earned her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School in Boston, where she received Pro Bono Honors for her public service work. She also graduated from Simmons College.

Admitted to practice in Massachusetts and the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, Maegan has received wide recognition for her dedication to public service. Her honors include the 2024 Boston Bar Association’s Mary K. Ryan Achievement in Pro Bono Award and the Volunteer Lawyers Project’s Dennis Maguire Pro Bono Award. She has also received 11 consecutive years of Pro Bono Publico Recognition from the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Massachusetts.

Maegan has been named a Top Lawyer in Bankruptcy by Boston Magazine (2021–2022) and was recognized among the 2020 Top Women of Law by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly. In 2018, she earned national recognition as one of the American Bankruptcy Institute’s 40 Under 40.

In addition to her legal practice, Maegan L. Hurley has contributed to the field by serving as editor for the American Bankruptcy Institute’s Best of ABI 2018: The Year in Consumer Bankruptcy. She is active in professional organizations such as the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys and the American Bankruptcy Institute. Maegan also gives back through the Massachusetts Debt Relief Foundation, reflecting her lifelong commitment to using the law as a tool for justice and recovery.
