About

Sean T. Keith has spent more than thirty years representing people harmed by negligence and unsafe conduct. His legal work began with car wreck claims and later expanded into tractor-trailer crashes, defective products, nursing home abuse, and pharmaceutical litigation. He has also handled complex medical device disputes involving nationwide claims and corporate defendants.

Sean earned a Bachelor of Arts from Westminster College, Fulton, Missouri, before receiving a Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas School of Law. His background in courtroom advocacy started early when he served as a prosecuting attorney in Logan County, Arkansas. Since 1995, his work has focused entirely on civil litigation and injury-related matters.

Sean has managed cases involving dangerous drugs, defective medical devices, and large-scale product liability litigation. Attorneys across the United States have referred matters involving medical complications and faulty products to him. In transvaginal mesh litigation, he handled depositions involving engineers, medical directors, and regulatory officers connected to major manufacturers and corporate investigations.

Sean also represented clients in the Stryker hip failure litigation, which resulted in a nationwide settlement exceeding one billion dollars. One case connected to his mesh litigation work produced a multimillion-dollar verdict against the manufacturer. His legal practice regularly includes investigations, depositions, and trial preparation involving detailed evidence and highly technical medical records.

Sean has remained active within the Arkansas legal community throughout his career. He previously served as President of the Benton County Bar Association and later became Chairman of the Arkansas Bar Association Board of Governors. Governor Asa Hutchinson appointed him in 2015 to serve as a Special Justice on the Arkansas Supreme Court.

Sean has received recognition from several national organizations for his legal work and contributions to the profession. He is rated AV Preeminent by Martindale Hubbell and has been featured on the Mid South’s Super Lawyer list. He also received the 2013 C.E. Ransick Award of Excellence from the Arkansas Bar Association.

Sean T. Keith continues to represent injured individuals in serious personal injury and mass tort litigation while contributing to legal education and professional organizations. He serves on the Arkansas Supreme Court Model Civil Jury Instructions Committee and frequently speaks at continuing legal education meetings focused on litigation strategy, courtroom procedure, and trial preparation.
