Sean Hecker is nationally known for his expertise in white collar criminal defense, regulatory investigations, and high-stakes litigation. With a record of success in cases involving financial crimes, antitrust issues, and fraud allegations, he has represented clients in some of the most complex legal matters in federal and state courts.
Sean began his academic journey at Columbia College, earning his B.A. magna cum laude in 1992. He later received his Master in Public Policy from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government in 1994, and his J.D. from Stanford Law School in 1997, where he graduated Order of the Coif and served as Senior Note Editor of the Stanford Law Review.
Sean’s legal career has included representing executives, financial professionals, and corporations in matters involving the DOJ, SEC, CFTC, FTC, and IRS. He has advised on allegations ranging from FCPA violations and market manipulation to tax fraud and money laundering. Sean has also led successful defenses in landmark trials, including the rare acquittal in U.S. v. Bogucki.
