Scott M. Douglass

Scott M. Douglass is a shareholder at Baker Donelson, where he represents clients across the U.S. in high-stakes intellectual property matters. His practice includes trademark, copyright, patent, and software law, with a particular focus on cutting-edge technologies including artificial intelligence, SaaS platforms, and digital brand enforcement.

Scott earned his J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law, where he was Managing Editor of the Wake Forest Journal of Law & Policy. He holds a B.A. cum laude from Rhodes College. He is admitted to practice in Tennessee, the District of Columbia, and multiple U.S. District and Circuit Courts, including the Federal Circuit.

Scott litigates trademark and patent disputes in federal courts nationwide, representing both rightsholders and defendants.
