Scott M. Davidson is a highly experienced appellate attorney based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. With over two decades of legal expertise, he focuses on appellate litigation, post-conviction cases, criminal defense, and immigration appeals. Before that, he completed advanced degrees, including a Ph.D., M.Phil., and M.A. from Yale University in 1991. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from Trinity University, earned in 1984. Mr. Davidson launched his legal career as a judicial law clerk for the Supreme Court of New Mexico from 1996 to 1998. He then served as an associate at Freedman Boyd Daniels Hollander Goldberg & Cline, P.A., where he handled complex federal multidistrict class action litigation. In 2000, he joined the Federal Public Defender’s Office in New Mexico, representing indigent defendants in appellate and post-conviction proceedings. Since founding his own firm in 2005, Mr. Davidson has concentrated on providing high-quality, results-driven legal representation in highly specialized areas of law.
