Scott Friedrich

Scott Friedrich is an attorney whose practice focuses on criminal defense, drawing on more than 30 years of trial experience and a unique professional background in law enforcement and prosecution. He represents individuals facing criminal charges throughout Missouri, using his experience as a juvenile officer, deputy sheriff, investigator, polygraph examiner, assistant prosecutor, and federal prosecutor to develop effective defense strategies. His firsthand knowledge of police procedures, criminal investigations, and prosecution tactics enables him to provide clients with informed and strategic legal representation.

Scott earned both a Bachelor of Science and a master’s degree in Criminal Justice from Central Missouri State University before receiving his Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Law in 1987. His education, combined with years of practical experience in the criminal justice system, established the foundation for a career dedicated to criminal law and courtroom advocacy.

Scott began his private practice in 1989 by opening Friedrich Law Office, P.C., on the historic Harrisonville Square. Since then, he has expanded the firm’s presence to Butler and Raymore, serving clients throughout the region. Throughout his career, he has handled a wide range of criminal cases in both state and federal courts while also maintaining experience in civil litigation. His background on both sides of the courtroom allows him to anticipate prosecutorial strategies, evaluate evidence effectively, and advocate aggressively on behalf of his clients.
