Scott Dickens is an attorney in Louisville, Kentucky, with a litigation practice focused on product liability, mass torts, commercial disputes, and alternative dispute resolution. He has appeared in courts throughout the United States and Puerto Rico since 1985. Scott defends manufacturers of consumer and industrial products in cases involving personal injury, property damage, fire loss, water damage, and other significant claims.
Scott earned a B.A. from Center College in 1982. He later received his J.D. from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law in 1985. Scott has defended many hundreds of product liability cases nationwide. His experience includes severe injury and wrongful death claims, major property damage cases, pharmaceutical litigation, coal workers’ pneumoconiosis claims, insurance coverage disputes, and lawsuits involving claim payment practices. He has also handled matters involving train derailments, warehouse fires, commercial trucking accidents, breach of contract, wrongful termination, employment agreements, and non-compete agreements.
Scott Dickens has been appointed three times to serve as a Special Justice on the Kentucky Supreme Court. He also served as a Trial Commissioner for the Kentucky Bar Association Attorney Disciplinary System from 1998 to 2014.
