Scott A. Haider

Scott A. Haider is a dedicated Fargo-based lawyer who represents individuals in Social Security Disability, long-term disability, personal injury, and product liability cases. With a career focused on protecting the rights of everyday people, he has successfully guided clients through some of the most difficult times in their lives. Haider is passionate about advocating for those facing health challenges, financial hardships, and legal barriers, ensuring they receive fair treatment and maximum benefits.

Haider earned his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of North Dakota in 2008 before earning his J.D. from the University of North Dakota School of Law. During law school, he clerked for the Schneider Law Firm in Grand Forks, competed in moot court, joined Delta Theta Phi legal fraternity, and contributed to the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program. He also co-authored “North Dakota Wind Energy Leasing Considerations,” a publication on the exploration and development of wind energy in the state.

In his legal career, Haider has won hundreds of favorable Social Security Disability decisions from Administrative Law Judges and has taken appeals as far as the federal district court in North Dakota and Minnesota, as well as the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals. He also represents individuals denied long-term disability benefits and pursues justice for victims of negligence in personal injury cases. His work further includes mass tort litigation and assisting small business owners with legal needs and estate planning goals.
