Sarah L. Shore

Sarah L. Shore is Secretary and Shareholder at Butt Thornton & Baehr PC in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She focuses on appeals and complex civil litigation, providing brief-writing, oral argument, and strategic assistance in matters involving substantial risk. Sarah also serves as outside general counsel for the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta and advises local and national nonprofit organizations on governance, policy, contracts, and regulatory compliance.

Sarah received her B.A. from the University of Washington in 2004 and her J.D. from New York University School of Law in 2009. Her academic training supports the legal research, interpretation, and written advocacy central to appellate practice. She is admitted in New York and New Mexico, as well as the United States District Court for New Mexico and the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.
