Sarah C. Buchanan

Sarah C. Buchanan is a Wichita attorney who advises limited liability companies, corporations, and partnerships on business transactions and corporate matters. She works with small and midsize companies on mergers and acquisitions, entity formation, contract drafting and review, financing transactions, and corporate governance. Her practice also includes real estate matters. Sarah helps clients consider how legal decisions affect their operations and long-term business goals.

Sarah earned a B.A. in Political Science, with a minor in Criminal Justice, from Wichita State University in 2018, graduating magna cum laude. She received her J.D. from the University of Kansas School of Law in 2021. During law school, she served as Editor-in-Chief of the Kansas Law Review and worked as a research assistant on topics that included securities law, ERISA, and banking. Her summer associate work also exposed her to real estate, renewable energy, litigation, and business matters.

Sarah counsels clients in agriculture, manufacturing, franchising, construction, technology, and personal services. She has represented buyers and sellers in mergers and acquisitions, helping them address the legal questions that arise during a transaction. She also assists businesses with contracts, financing, and governance needs. By learning each client’s objectives, Sarah provides guidance suited to the company and the decision at hand.
