About

Sarah Whitfield Bearden is an experienced litigator who represents people in civil litigation, criminal defense, and personal injury matters. She focuses on careful preparation, strong courtroom advocacy, and practical guidance for clients facing serious legal concerns. Her work centers on helping injured or accused individuals pursue fair results after difficult events.

Sarah earned her undergraduate degree in Journalism from the University of Kentucky in 2006. She later earned her Juris Doctorate from Salmon P. Chase College of Law in 2017. During law school, she started the Animal Legal Defense Fund chapter at her school in 2015.

Sarah built important courtroom experience as a former public defender, where she represented underprivileged clients and fought for their rights in court. That background gave her a strong understanding of criminal defense, client communication, and the pressure people face when their freedom, record, or future may be at risk.

Sarah now applies that litigation experience to civil claims and personal injury cases involving people harmed by another person’s negligence. Her approach is diligent, meticulous, and vigorous. She works to understand each client’s situation, prepare cases with care, and present strong arguments when accountability is needed.

Sarah is licensed in the state of Kentucky and serves clients through her Kentucky practice. Her legal work includes helping people with injury claims, defense matters, and civil disputes. She aims to give clients steady support, clear direction, and a prepared legal strategy during stressful and uncertain times.

Sarah also brings compassion to her legal work by focusing on people who have been wronged and need help moving forward. She understands that clients often come to a lawyer during some of the hardest moments of their lives, so she works to protect their interests with patience and resolve.

Sarah Bearden continues to serve clients as a committed advocate in personal injury, civil litigation, and criminal defense. Her career reflects a strong concern for fairness, careful legal work, and meaningful service to people in need. Through preparation and advocacy, she helps clients seek justice and stability.
