Sarah Bearden

Sarah Whitfield Bearden is an experienced litigator who represents people in civil litigation, criminal defense, and personal injury matters. Sarah earned her undergraduate degree in Journalism from the University of Kentucky in 2006. She later earned her Juris Doctorate from Salmon P. Chase College of Law in 2017. During law school, she started the Animal Legal Defense Fund chapter at her school in 2015.

Sarah built important courtroom experience as a former public defender, where she represented underprivileged clients and fought for their rights in court. That background gave her a strong understanding of criminal defense, client communication, and the pressure people face when their freedom, record, or future may be at risk.
