Robert N. Symmonds has built a long-standing legal career serving individuals, families, and businesses in Emporia, Kansas. Robert prepared for a legal career by earning a degree from Emporia State University in 1969. He then received his Juris Doctorate from Washburn University of Topeka in 1974. That same year, he was admitted to the Kansas Bar and also gained admission to practice before the 10th Circuit U.S. District Court. His educational background and early admission to practice provided the foundation for decades of legal experience across multiple areas of law.

Robert has remained active within the legal profession throughout his career. He is a member and past president of the Chase-Lyon County Bar Association. In addition, he maintains membership in the Kansas Bar Association and the Kansas Association for Justice. His professional involvement also includes membership in the Phi Delta Phi member Association, reflecting a continued dedication to the legal field and professional development.

Robert has contributed extensively to civic and community organizations. He served as a former director of the Emporia Community Foundation and has been a member of the Emporia Chamber of Commerce since 1978. Community service has also included active participation in the Emporia Lions Club, where he previously held the position of district governor. These roles demonstrate a long history of involvement beyond the practice of law.
