Sara L. Gehrig-Woodman is an experienced Wisconsin litigator who focuses on civil litigation, municipal law, family and divorce law, and mediation matters. She brings decades of courtroom experience to her practice, having tried more than 100 jury trials along with numerous court trials. Sara earned her J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School in 1993. She received her B.A. from St. Olaf College in 1990. Her legal education prepared her for a career centered on trial practice and dispute resolution. Early in her career, she served as a prosecuting attorney in Alaska and Idaho, where she gained significant courtroom experience and developed effective trial strategies.
Throughout her career, Sara has represented individuals, businesses, and municipalities in complex disputes. She has argued and prevailed before the Wisconsin Supreme Court and has helped a Wisconsin municipality recover $2 million in damages from a large pipeline company for harm to public roads. Her litigation background allows her to analyze cases quickly and pursue cost-effective solutions that align with her clients’ long-term goals.
