About

Santolo L. Odierna is a Connecticut attorney who focuses on civil litigation and probate litigation. He represents clients in contract and real estate disputes, landlord-tenant matters, probate cases, personal injury claims, and Chapter 7 bankruptcy proceedings in federal court. His practice is built around helping individuals and businesses understand their options, prepare for disputes, and pursue practical resolutions through negotiation, mediation, or trial when needed.

Santolo earned a Bachelor’s degree from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut. He later received his Juris Doctor from the University of Connecticut School of Law, where he served as Notes and Comments Editor of the Connecticut Public Interest Law Journal. He also earned a Certificate in Tax Law. During law school, he clerked for attorneys handling landlord-tenant and special education matters and represented low-income taxpayers through the school’s Tax Clinic.

Santolo began his career by founding a solo practice through the inaugural class of the Connecticut Community Law Center, an incubator program sponsored by the University of Connecticut School of Law. In that role, he provided affordable legal assistance to people in the greater Hartford community. His experience includes divorce, child custody, foreclosure defense, tax debt resolution, bankruptcy, contract litigation, and landlord-tenant cases. He has handled matters through pretrial proceedings, contested trials, and mediation.

Santolo L. Odierna brings broad litigation experience and a strong public-service background to his legal work. He is admitted to practice in Connecticut, the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut, and the U.S. Tax Court. He is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association and the Hartford County Bar Association. He has also been selected to the Connecticut Rising Stars list each year since 2021, reflecting his continued work in civil and probate-related matters.
