Patrick served as a law clerk to the Honorable William L. Grimes, Chief Justice of the New Hampshire Supreme Court, from 1979 to 1980. He often serves as trial counsel when cases cannot be resolved and has argued appeals before Connecticut and federal courts, including the Second Circuit Court of Appeals.
