Sandra T. Adhami

Sandra T. Adhami is a senior associate and the Senior Office Attorney in the San Diego office of Kimball, Tirey & St. John LLP. She focuses on residential landlord-tenant law and advises housing providers on government-owned housing, subsidized housing, habitability defense, and post-foreclosure evictions. Her practice draws on extensive legal and management experience, enabling her to address housing disputes with practical judgment, an organized case strategy, and an understanding of the operational concerns affecting property owners and managers.

Sandra earned her J.D. from California Western School of Law. She also received a Master of Public Administration from California State University, Dominguez Hills, and a B.A. in Public Administration from San Diego State University. Before becoming a lawyer, she spent 15 years in management with a Fortune 500 consumer services company while completing her undergraduate and graduate studies. She is also pursuing a Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology with a research focus on organizational effectiveness.

Sandra began her legal career as a sole practitioner, during which she developed a broad civil practice involving landlord-tenant disputes, consumer law, code compliance, insurance bad faith, family law, and small-claims matters. She later concentrated her work on housing law, including residential tenancy issues, subsidized and government-owned properties, habitability claims, and evictions following foreclosure. Her prior service as general counsel for a real estate holding company further strengthened her understanding of property operations, legal risk, and business decision-making.

Sandra T. Adhami is admitted to practice in California and before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California. Her professional and civic work has included volunteering with the Legal Aid Society’s unlawful detainer and temporary restraining order clinic and serving as a legal intern with the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program’s domestic violence clinic. She combines courtroom experience, management insight, and a practical approach to help clients resolve housing matters efficiently and protect their legal and operational interests.
