Sandra Ann K. Pratt-Aquino (“Kau’i”) is a licensed attorney in the State of Hawai’i. She leads the firm, Pratt Law Hawai‘i, LLLC, with a practice focused on estate planning, family law, and Native Hawaiian rights. Her work includes revocable trusts, wills, advance health care directives, durable powers of attorney, Medicaid planning, uncontested guardianship, custody, and divorce matters. She also advises clients and groups on legislative and community initiatives. Her approach is grounded, clear, and focused on practical legal solutions for clients across Hawai’i communities.

Sandra earned her J.D. from the William S. Richardson School of Law in 2015. She also received a Certificate in Native Hawaiian Rights, which strengthened her knowledge of legal issues affecting Native Hawaiian communities. She completed law school through the evening division for working professionals, showing strong discipline and focus. Her legal education prepared her to handle complex matters with care and attention. This academic foundation continues to support her work in estate planning, family law, and community-based legal advocacy.

Sandra built her legal career through both public service and private practice. In 2015, she served as an intern with the State of Hawai’i Department of the Attorney General, specifically with the Department of Hawaiian Homelands. Before graduating, she also worked for four years as a clerk at a local estate planning and probate law office. These roles gave her direct experience in probate and estate matters, as well as legal services. They also helped shape her understanding of how law can support families.

Sandra Ann K. Pratt-Aquino has a strong record of helping people through legal services and community advocacy. She worked with the Access to Justice Working Group to support a loan repayment program for public-interest lawyers, aiming to expand legal services for people with high legal needs. Her work with INPEACE included policy, outreach, partnerships, evaluation, and compliance efforts that supported children and families. Through her firm, she continues to provide compassionate, informed guidance to clients and communities seeking practical legal help.
