Samuel E. Joyner is an accomplished trial attorney with over 20 years of experience in commercial litigation. He focuses on high-stakes disputes involving patent infringement, unfair competition, theft of trade secrets, fraud, breach of contract, antitrust, RICO, and regulatory compliance. He represents both plaintiffs and defendants in industries such as aerospace, defense, energy, financial services, healthcare, and telecommunications.
Samuel earned his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the University of Tulsa College of Law, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Tulsa Law Review and a member of the Order of the Curule Chair and the Order of Barristers. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, where he developed a strong foundation in problem-solving and leadership.
His practice spans a wide range of technologies, from banking systems, cellular networks, and software to consumer products, semiconductors, smart devices, and medical equipment. In addition to being an experienced trial lawyer, he partners closely with clients to proactively manage legal risk and maintain compliance with rapidly evolving industry regulations and standards.
Samuel has been recognized by Texas Super Lawyers (2014–2024) and previously named a Texas Rising Star (2004). He is a former member of The Honorable Barbara M. G. Lynn Inn of Court and served on the Dallas Bar Association Judicial Committee. His leadership extends beyond the legal field, including his role as a Leadership Dallas Graduate and Advisor for the Dallas Regional Chamber.
