Samuel C. Hall Jr.

Samuel C. Hall Jr. is the Managing Partner of Crivello, Nichols & Hall, S.C. in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and a member of the firm’s Board of Directors. His practice includes sports law, civil rights litigation, crisis management, government affairs, and appellate advocacy. Hall represents athletes, athletic governing bodies, educational institutions, clubs, public entities, and other clients in matters involving college athlete revenue sharing, NIL, Title IX, SafeSport, anti-doping, and complex litigation.

Hall earned his J.D. from Marquette University in 2005 and his B.A. from Marquette University in 2002. His legal education supports a practice that combines litigation, appellate work, regulatory issues, and sports-related representation. He is admitted in Wisconsin, Illinois, Kentucky, and New York, as well as before the U.S. Supreme Court, several federal appellate courts, and federal district courts in multiple states.

Hall has represented hundreds of law enforcement officers, government officials, and judges in complex civil rights cases. His sports practice includes advising college athletes on revenue sharing and NIL matters, representing athletic governing bodies, and assisting educational institutions and clubs with Title IX and SafeSport issues. He also handles anti-doping cases involving athletes, trainers, and veterinarians in the thoroughbred horse racing industry and advises public and private clients on crisis response, communications, and operational continuity.

Samuel C. Hall Jr. has been named to The Best Lawyers in America and the Wisconsin Super Lawyers list and holds an AV-Preeminent peer and judicial rating from Martindale-Hubbell. In 2020, he was named to the Milwaukee Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 list.
