S. Campbell Badger represents public and private employers in labor, employment law, and labor relations matters, with extensive experience in collective bargaining and workplace disputes at Drummond Woodsum. He has negotiated more than 175 collective bargaining agreements involving numerous unions and industries. His work includes initial and successor contracts, grievance arbitrations, unfair labor practice proceedings, unit determinations, and workforce issues. He also counsels employers on discrimination, wrongful discharge, and wage and hour compliance matters.

Campbell earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Maine School of Law in 1993. He earned his B.A., cum laude, from the University of Massachusetts in 1987. He is admitted in Maine and before several tribal courts. His admissions include the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians, Suquamish Tribal Court, Pueblo of Laguna Tribal Court, and Snoqualmie Tribal Court, supporting his work involving tribal employment matters and disputes.

Campbell advises Indian tribes and tribal enterprises on personnel, employment, and labor relations matters. He assists with union organizing drives, collective bargaining, and tribal laws governing employment and labor relations. He also created and implemented a national certification training program for human resource professionals serving tribal governments and enterprises. His work helps human resource professionals understand employment challenges while supporting tribal self-determination and management of sovereign workplace matters and policies.

S. Campbell Badger has received recognition for his work in employment and labor law, including listings in Best Lawyers USA for Employment Management and Labor Law Management. He maintains professional memberships with the American Bar Association, Maine State Bar Association, National Council of School Board Attorneys, and Maine Council of School Board Attorneys.
