Ryan Persad

Ryan Persad is a New York real estate attorney with KGM Law whose practice focuses on residential purchases and sales. He assists buyers and sellers through the stages of a home transaction, including pre-contract review, due diligence, contract issues, and closing preparation. Persad earned a B.A. from CUNY Hunter College and a J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 2019. Before and during law school, he gained experience in several New York City government and legal settings. That background included work connected to city asset management, the City Council, the courts, transportation, and private legal practice, giving him familiarity with public and private legal processes.

Persad has worked on residential real estate transactions from initial due diligence through closing. His prior experience includes service with the New York City Department of Citywide Administrative Services, the Mayor’s Pre-K for All initiative, a City Council office, the chambers of an appellate justice, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, a personal injury firm, and a commercial real estate investment firm. These roles broadened his understanding of property and government-related issues.
