Ryan Dove

Ryan Dove is a skilled bankruptcy attorney in Texas who helps people overcome financial difficulties with compassion and clarity. Ryan began his academic journey with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from The Ohio State University. Later, he earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Houston Law Center. While in law school, Ryan completed internships with Judge Jeff Bohm and at Adair & Myers, PLLC, gaining valuable experience in bankruptcy law.

After passing the Texas Bar in 2008, Ryan worked at Adair & Myers, PLLC as an associate attorney. He then joined The Schachter Law Firm, P.C. in 2009, where he continued to build his bankruptcy practice. His experience includes handling a wide range of consumer bankruptcy cases and guiding clients through financial recovery.

Ryan’s legal career reflects his dedication to client service and legal education. He co-teaches “Bankruptcy Basics,” a class for attorneys hosted by Lone Star Legal Aid, which helps expand access to pro bono bankruptcy services. He has also spoken on panels at major legal conferences, including the Southern District of Texas Bench Bar Conference and Small & Mid-Sized Firm Week.

Ryan holds memberships in several professional organizations, including the State Bar of Texas Bankruptcy Section, NACBA, HACBA, and AVVO.com. He is admitted to practice law in Texas and the Southern District of Texas, where he regularly represents individuals in bankruptcy filings and debt-related matters.
