Ryan A. Semerad is the managing partner of Fuller & Semerad, LLC, where he represents individuals, businesses, and government entities across Wyoming. He handles criminal, civil, appellate, and constitutional matters in state and federal courts. His criminal defense work includes aggravated assault, sexual assault, murder, vehicular homicide, theft, and fraud allegations. He also litigates major civil claims involving contracts, fraud, and real property rights.

Ryan earned his undergraduate degree from Union College in New York and his J.D. from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. He began his legal career with Jones Day in Cleveland, Ohio. He later served as a law clerk to Judge Michael P. Gibbons of the Nevada Court of Appeals. He then practiced with Holland & Hart LLP in Las Vegas before relocating with his family to Casper in 2020. He is an active Wyoming Bar member, while his Ohio and Nevada admissions are inactive.

Ryan has represented clients before the Wyoming Supreme Court, Nevada Supreme Court, Tenth Circuit, and Supreme Court of the United States. He has handled appeals involving criminal law, civil disputes, constitutional questions, and property rights. He also writes and speaks about Second Amendment rights, public-land access, and distinctive issues of Wyoming law. His published work includes articles in the Wyoming Law Review and Ohio State Law Journal.

Ryan A. Semerad brings trial, appellate, and large-firm experience to complex disputes that may affect a client’s liberty, property, or reputation. He serves on the Community Recreation Foundation board and previously chaired the Wyoming State Bar’s Criminal Justice Section. He also serves on the Criminal Pattern Jury Instructions Committee. His professional memberships include the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Wyoming Trial Lawyers Association.
