About
Russell Aldrich is a San Antonio estate planning lawyer at Aldrich Law Firm, PLLC, who represents clients throughout Texas in contested and uncontested estate, probate, and trust matters. He handles will contests, trust disputes, power of attorney litigation, fiduciary claims, and conflicts involving non-probate transfers. He also represents victims of elder abuse, fraud, and undue influence, and he tailors litigation strategies to each client’s circumstances, objectives, and needs in difficult family legal conflicts.
Russell earned his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 2011. He earned his M.A. in International Relations from St. Mary’s University in 2008 and his B.A. in History and Government from the University of Texas at Austin in 2005. He is admitted in Texas, Maine, and Colorado, and he also holds admissions in multiple federal district courts and the US Supreme Court, supporting matters across several jurisdictions.
Russell has recovered millions of dollars for clients harmed by elder abuse, fraud, and undue influence. He served as a Senior Editor of the University of Pennsylvania Journal of Business Law and participated in the Custody and Support Assistance Clinic. He also completed internships with the Department of Justice in Philadelphia and the Center for Social Development in Cambodia, experiences that directly strengthened his legal research, advocacy, and cross-cultural perspective.
Russell Aldrich remains active in probate, trust, litigation, and professional organizations while continuing his service in the United States Army Reserve as a Foreign Area Officer. He belongs to the Texas Bar College, State Bar of Texas Pro Bono College, and relevant State Bar sections.
