Rudy D. Beck focuses his legal practice on estate planning and elder law matters that affect families, seniors, and caregivers. His work centers on helping people plan ahead, protect assets, and manage complex legal issues tied to aging, incapacity, and long-term care needs with clarity, structure, and confidence.
Rudy earned his BA degree from Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois, in 1971, developing strong analytical and communication skills. He later completed his Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law in May of 1974, where his academic performance led to recognition in “Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges” in 1974.
Rudy practices primarily in estate planning and elder law, with extensive experience in Medicaid planning, asset protection planning, and long-term care crisis planning. His work also includes probate and trust administration, guardianships, and the preparation of living trusts, wills, durable powers of attorney, and specialized trusts.
Rudy regularly assists individuals and families with applications for VA Aid & Attendance and Medicaid Benefits. He is known for explaining complex rules in clear terms and for helping clients make informed decisions during stressful times, particularly when planning for nursing home care or preserving family assets.
Rudy is actively involved in professional and community organizations, including The Missouri Bar, the St. Charles County Bar Association, and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. His leadership includes serving as president of the Missouri chapter of NAELA during the 2008–2009 fiscal year.
Rudy D. Beck has received notable recognition for his service, including being voted Man of the Year for 2002 and receiving the Champion of Older American Awards presented by SSM Healthcare System. He was later inducted into the Missouri Area Council Hall of Fame in 2023, reflecting his long-standing commitment to community involvement and elder advocacy.
