Julie Myers

Julie Myers is a native of Washington, D.C., and brings 27 years of legal experience to Myers Law LLC. Her practice focuses on estate planning, wills, trusts, contracts, and business law. She is known for steady guidance and clear advice to clients facing important legal decisions today.

Julie earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Virginia Tech before attending the University of Baltimore School of Law. While in law school, Julie participated in the Civil Law Clinic and a summer abroad program at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland, gaining practical international academic experience abroad.

After graduation, Julie served as a judicial law clerk to Judge Lenore R. Gelfman in the Circuit Court for Howard County, Maryland. She then spent ten years as a civil litigator, practicing employment law and general civil law in state and federal courts throughout the Baltimore/Washington, D.C. area region.

In 2007, Julie relocated to Colorado and practiced law there for fifteen years, focusing on estate planning, probate, business, and contracts. In 2010, she was recognized by the Colorado Supreme Court for outstanding pro bono service to the community while maintaining high professional standards and public trust statewide.

During her time in Colorado, Julie worked as an administrative law judge for the State of Colorado and as a civil litigation attorney. She founded Myers Law in 2017 and later practiced with The Cohen Law Firm in Boulder for over three years, consistently serving diverse client needs.

In 2021, Julie Myers returned to Maryland and reopened her firm to serve local families and businesses. She provides careful and compassionate legal services in estate planning, wills, trusts, contracts, and business matters. She continues to serve clients in Ellicott City, Columbia, and surrounding areas with dedication, experience, and care.
