Robert Stone

Robert Stone is a highly respected plaintiff personal injury attorney and trial lawyer at Robert Stone Alaska Law. With over two decades of experience, he has dedicated his career to advocating for the rights of injured Alaskans. Known for his fierce advocacy, Robert treats every case—big or small—with the same level of dedication.

Robert earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Oregon, where he attended on a wrestling scholarship and lettered all four years. He then graduated cum laude from Gonzaga University School of Law in 1994. While at Gonzaga, he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Gonzaga Law Review and received multiple American Jurisprudence Awards for academic excellence.

After graduating from law school, Robert served as a law clerk to Chief Judge James K. Singleton, Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the District of Alaska. He then spent five years practicing insurance defense before shifting his focus to plaintiff personal injury law in 2001. Since that time, he has dedicated his practice to representing injured individuals and fighting to level the playing field against large insurance companies.

Robert has made significant contributions to the Alaska Bar Association. He created the Young Lawyer Liaison role and served on the Board of Governors, eventually becoming President of the Alaska Bar Association from 2019 to 2020. His leadership and service also include chairing the Lawyers’ Fund for Client Protection Committee for over two decades.

In addition to his legal practice, Robert is a member of the Alaska Academy of Trial Lawyers and served as its President from 2008 to 2010. He is licensed to practice in both Alaska and Washington, D.C., and remains an active figure in legal and professional circles.
