Robert completed his education beginning at Dartmouth College (1960) and later earned his Juris Doctor from Yale University (1963). After receiving his law degree, he was admitted to the Connecticut Bar in 1963, followed by admission to the U.S. District Court, District of Connecticut that same year. His qualifications expanded with admission to the U.S. Court of Appeals, Second Circuit in 1965, and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit in 1992.
Robert has built extensive experience guiding entrepreneurs, business owners, and professional practitioners through complex commercial situations. He has supported clients in structuring, negotiating, and executing transactions involving a wide range of companies, including those in health care, dental supply, broadcasting, spirits distribution, insurance, reinsurance, and automotive sales. Robert has also represented foreign companies, especially across Europe and Scandinavia, aiding them in acquiring and distributing American products.
