Mr. Girard earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Maryland, College Park, in 1996. He went on to obtain his Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University School of Law, graduating cum laude in 2001. While at Seton Hall Law, he held leadership roles on the Executive Board of the Rodino Law Society and served as Director of the Appellate Advocacy Moot Court Board. Admitted to the California Bar in 2001, Mr. Girard is authorized to practice in multiple courts, including the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Mr. Girard has recovered millions of dollars for his clients throughout his career. In 2017, he won a $1.8 million award for an elderly couple in an elder financial abuse case, with over $1 million in punitive damages. He has also secured significant arbitration awards for securities professionals, including a $3.7 million case against a FINRA member and an expungement award for a wrongfully discharged broker.
