Meredith A. Firetog

Meredith A. Firetog is a Partner at Wigdor LLP, where she represents clients in high-stakes employment and discrimination matters. Meredith earned her B.A. with high honors from Swarthmore College, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and served on the College Judiciary Committee. Meredith then completed her Master of Studies with distinction at Oxford University before obtaining her Juris Doctor from Stanford Law School. At Stanford, she was a Senior Symposium Editor of the Stanford Law Review, Co-President of the Stanford Public Interest Law Foundation, and a leader in Women of Stanford Law.

Meredith began her career at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP, where she gained experience in complex commercial litigation. She then clerked for the Honorable Gregory H. Woods of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. Following her clerkship, she joined Sanford Heisler Sharp, rising to the position of Partner while focusing on gender discrimination, harassment, and wage and hour class actions.

Meredith’s experience includes handling high-impact Title IX and Fair Housing Act litigation for Yale University students, leading wage-and-hour actions against Oracle on behalf of thousands of sales professionals, and advocating for executives, lawyers, and administrators in complex workplace disputes involving pay inequity, discrimination, and retaliation.
