Robert J. Bergeron

Robert J. Bergeron is principal of Crescent Title, LLC and a seasoned attorney with two decades of experience managing residential and commercial real estate transactions. He is widely recognized as an authority on Louisiana real estate law, frequently lecturing to investors and home buyers on property transactions. Bergeron also provides state-mandated continuing education for Realtors, teaching hundreds of agents annually, and is considered a leading voice on 1031 Tax Deferred Exchanges.

Bergeron earned his B.B.A. from Loyola University in 1984 and his J.D. from Loyola Law School, where he was a member of the Moot Court Board. He is admitted to practice before all state and federal courts in Louisiana. His legal education, combined with years of practical experience, supports a practice focused on helping clients achieve smooth and secure property transactions while ensuring compliance with Louisiana’s complex real estate laws.

Bergeron manages approximately 1,500 transactions annually, including both residential and commercial closings. His areas of focus include real estate closings, estate planning, successions, condominium conversions, title insurance, and tax-deferred exchanges. In addition to his legal career, he served as a major in the Louisiana Army National Guard, bringing discipline and leadership to his practice.
