Robert H. Reese, Jr.

Robert H. Reese, Jr. is a shareholder of Pyfer, Straub, Gray & Farhat, P.C. and a member of the firm’s Board of Directors. He focuses his practice on criminal defense and family law, representing clients in divorce, custody, and support matters, as well as a wide range of criminal proceedings.

Robert’s family law practice centers on guiding clients through complex and often sensitive issues involving marital dissolution, child custody, and support. He is known for providing clear legal counsel and strong advocacy, helping clients navigate emotionally charged disputes while working toward practical and equitable resolutions.

In addition to family law, Robert has extensive experience in criminal defense. He regularly represents individuals facing criminal charges and has participated in Driving Under the Influence seminars conducted by the Lancaster County Drug and Alcohol Council. His criminal practice reflects a deep understanding of Pennsylvania criminal procedure and courtroom strategy.

Robert earned his undergraduate degree from Valparaiso University, where he completed double majors with honors in political science and American history. He went on to receive his Juris Doctor from Valparaiso University School of Law in 1972, establishing a strong academic foundation for his legal career.

Throughout his career, Robert has practiced extensively in Lancaster County and has also represented clients in courts across 27 Pennsylvania counties. His experience includes appearances before the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania. Several of his opening and closing arguments have been published in national legal publications.

Robert is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Lancaster County Bar Association. He also belongs to the American Trial Lawyers Association and the Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys, reflecting his long-standing commitment to trial advocacy.
