Robert Grossbart

Robert N. Grossbart is a seasoned Maryland attorney with over 33 years of legal experience, specializing in bankruptcy, mortgage litigation, and consumer rights. As a founding attorney at Grossbart, Portney & Rosenberg, he represents individuals and small businesses in Chapter 7, Chapter 13, and complex bankruptcy matters across the state.

Robert earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 1986. He became a Certified Public Accountant in 1984, following his completion of a B.S. at Towson University in 1980. This dual background in law and finance gives him a unique advantage when advising clients on debt relief and financial restructuring.

Throughout his career, Robert has successfully handled a broad spectrum of financial and consumer law matters, including mortgage disputes, small business bankruptcy cases, and claims under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).
