Robert earned his J.D. from Widener University School of Law in Wilmington, Delaware, while simultaneously working full-time as a Physician Assistant. His medical background includes clinical experience in ENT, oncology, urology, and primary care, giving him a practical understanding of the complex healthcare issues at the heart of many of his legal cases.
Outside the courtroom, Robert is a published legal and medical author with more than a dozen peer‑reviewed articles to his name. His work appears in leading Pennsylvania and international journals, where he focuses on educating attorneys, physicians, and other healthcare professionals on complex legal-medical issues. Robert is also a frequent conference speaker, presenting on cutting-edge medical treatments, healthcare law, and developments at the intersection of medicine and the law.
Robert’s military and federal healthcare background reflects his commitment to public service. He served on active duty as a Commissioned Officer in the United States Military at Fort Dix in 2000. He worked at the Philadelphia Veterans Administration Medical Center, helping veterans receive quality medical care. He holds the rank of Ensign (First Lieutenant) in the Inactive Reserve of the U.S. Public Health Service, a United States Uniformed Services branch.
