Robert “Bo” Briggs

Robert “Bo” Briggs is a sixth-generation Ocalan who has built his career on integrity, advocacy, and a strong commitment to representing the injured. With years of experience in personal injury law, he combines professionalism and compassion to help clients navigate difficult circumstances while ensuring their voices are heard and their rights protected.

Bo began his education at Belleview High School, where he served as a 3-year golf team captain and two-time Television Production Student of the Year. He went on to earn a double major in finance and marketing from Florida State University, actively participating in Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity and the club water ski team. He later earned his Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law—ranked the nation’s top law school for trial advocacy during his time there—where he also received a Certificate of Concentration in Advocacy.

Briggs has demonstrated exceptional leadership throughout his legal career. He served on the Florida Justice Association Young Lawyers Division Executive Board and was a founding organizer of the Marion County Justice Association. His dedication to professional ethics is evident through his three-year service on Florida’s Fifth Circuit Grievance Committee, where he became Chairman, and his appointment by Governor Ron DeSantis to the Fifth Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission. He is also an associate of the D.R. Smith Chapter of the American Inns of Court, further reflecting his commitment to excellence in legal practice.
