During law school, he gained valuable legal experience with the Rockingham County District Attorney’s Office, the Guilford County Public Defender’s Office, and through a residency with Chief Justice Mark Martin of the North Carolina Supreme Court. After passing the February 2019 bar exam, Richard was admitted to practice law in North Carolina and began serving clients in Harnett, Johnston, and Lee Counties.
