Richard Pullman is a veteran attorney with over five decades of legal experience, widely recognized for his expertise in business and commercial litigation. His broad practice includes real estate, securities, banking, bankruptcy, trademark disputes, estate and trust matters, and professional malpractice. Known for his precision in handling complex legal issues, Richard has served as lead counsel in numerous high-profile cases across federal and state courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court.

Richard earned his Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University in 1971, where he was Editor of the Southwestern Law Journal. He holds a Bachelor of Arts with honors from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut. He is admitted to all Texas state courts, all federal district courts in Texas, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Richard’s practice includes trial and appellate litigation, as well as mediation. He completed the “Learn from the Masters” mediation course and contributes pro bono mediation services to the Dallas County Dispute Resolution Center. His significant cases range from multimillion-dollar contract disputes to complex insurance and intellectual property litigation. He is often called upon for appellate work involving intricate commercial and constitutional issues.

Richard Pullman is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) and has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America from 2007 to 2023. He has received multiple honors, including being named a Texas Super Lawyer and receiving the Dallas Dispute Resolution Center’s 2015 Impact Award. Richard is also active in the Dallas Bar Association and lectures frequently on real estate and commercial litigation topics.
