Richard E. Huffman

Richard E. Huffman is a seasoned attorney with over 40 years of experience in real estate and business law. He earned a B.S. in Business Administration in 1969 and a J.D. in 1972, both from the University of South Dakota. After passing the bar, Rich began his legal career in Rapid City, South Dakota, working in banking law before transitioning to private practice.

Rich specializes in real estate transactions, including sales, purchases, land development, and corporate and municipal law. He represents buyers, sellers, developers, and investors at all transaction stages. Holding a South Dakota real estate broker’s license, he has participated in over $250 million in real estate transactions. Notably, he has provided local legal support for General Growth Properties, achieving a six-figure tax refund for his client.

Rich’s practice includes corporate law, litigation, trusts, and estates.
