Rich earned his Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law in 1996. He also holds a B.A. from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, completed in 1990. His education supports his broad experience in corporate and intellectual property law.
Rich has over 20 years of experience handling corporate transactions, commercial real estate, employment matters, and industry-specific work in fashion and food and beverage. He advises clients on business development and legal strategy, helping them manage complex commercial matters with practical solutions.
Rich previously served as counsel to several entertainment companies, including Webster Hall Entertainment Corp. He played a role in guiding its business development before its sale to the Brooklyn Nets ownership group, gaining valuable experience in high-level corporate transactions and negotiations.
Rich is also an intellectual property attorney with experience in trademark and copyright matters for celebrities and media companies. He co-authored an amicus brief to the United States Supreme Court and contributed to the formation of UmixIt Technologies, recognized with an Intel award.
