Rebecca Olesen is a certified mediator and family transition professional in Enfield, Connecticut. She helps individuals and families manage major life changes involving divorce in family law, estate planning, probate matters, and marriage ceremonies at The Guidance Office, LLC. Rebecca has a scholarly background in literature, research, and writing. She also received intensive divorce mediation training from Attorney Richard O’Neil, whose practice focused heavily on mediation. Her professional development included years of work in his office, including service as a lead paralegal, where she gained practical experience with family-related legal processes and client support.

Rebecca assisted hundreds of local families with divorce, future planning, probate-related needs, and other important changes after opening her office in October 2013. She applies mediation methods to help separating couples work toward fair agreements while preserving control over decisions affecting their families. Her process is designed to reduce conflict, support constructive communication, and encourage solutions that parents can follow after separation.
