Rebecca King is an experienced elder law attorney with more than 25 years of service to seniors across healthcare, legal, and academic settings. Her legal practice focuses on elder law, estate planning, guardianship, vulnerable adult protection, and estate and trust administration. Drawing from her extensive social work background, Rebecca offers client-focused, compassionate legal support that addresses both legal needs and quality-of-life concerns.
Rebecca holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from the University of South Florida and a J.D. from Seattle University School of Law.
Before entering the legal field, Rebecca worked as a hospice and skilled nursing facility social worker, hospital discharge planner, and assisted living administrator. These roles gave her deep insight into the real-life challenges facing older adults and their families. After earning her law degree, she transitioned into elder law, bringing with her a rare blend of legal knowledge and care-focused experience.
In addition to practicing law, Rebecca has contributed to legal education as an instructor at Western Washington University, where she taught Law and Social Policy, and as an adjunct professor at Seattle University School of Law, where she taught elder law ethics.
Rebecca King is a member of the Washington State Bar Association Elder Law Section and the Washington State Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. She continues to advocate for the rights and well-being of older adults through both her legal practice and professional affiliations. She is widely respected for her holistic approach, combining legal precision with a deep understanding of senior care systems.
