Rania S. Galan

Rania S. Galan is a partner at Ballard Spahr LLP in Washington, DC, where she focuses her legal practice on commercial real estate financing. She represents both borrowers and lenders in complex transactions involving the construction, rehabilitation, acquisition, and refinancing of market-rate and affordable multifamily and health care facilities.

Rania earned her J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 2009, where she served as a Senior Editor of the Law Review and worked as a Legal Writing Fellow. She earned her B.A., cum laude, from Amherst College in 2006.

Rania has deep experience working with loans insured by the Federal Housing Administration (FHA) and agency loans backed by Fannie Mae.
