R. James Amaro

James Amaro is the founder of Amaro Injury Lawyers and a seasoned trial attorney with a long-standing commitment to representing individuals and businesses in high-stakes legal matters. Since founding the firm in 2005, he has led complex litigation involving catastrophic injuries, insurance disputes, and commercial claims across Texas.

Mr. Amaro earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics, with a minor in History, from the University of Texas at Austin. He later obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Wisconsin Law School and expanded his legal education through advanced studies in international law at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands.

Before establishing his firm, Mr. Amaro built a strong foundation working at large national and regional defense law firms in Texas and Wisconsin. This experience provided him with deep insight into insurance defense strategies, federal litigation practices, and the procedural complexities that shape high-value personal injury and commercial cases.

Throughout his career, Mr. Amaro has represented thousands of clients in matters involving personal injury, wrongful death, business disputes, insurance coverage, and commercial litigation.
