Peter L. Klenk is a trusted estate and trust attorney with decades of focused legal experience. Peter began his academic journey at the University of Minnesota, graduating cum laude and with honors in 1987. He continued at the University of Minnesota Law School, earning his J.D. cum laude in 1990. Committed to mastering tax law, he pursued an LL.M. in Taxation from the nationally top-ranked New York University tax program.

Before entering private practice, Peter served as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy JAG Corps, where he provided critical estate planning services to service members during Desert Storm and Desert Shield. His team earned a Meritorious Unit Commendation for assisting over 10,000 deployed personnel. This early experience shaped his commitment to service and detail.

Following his military service, Peter focused his legal work exclusively on estate law. This allows him to stay current with changes in inheritance, gift, estate, and generation-skipping tax laws. By narrowing his scope, he is able to deliver highly informed and accurate legal advice to his clients across the country.
